HOW DO I USE A PARTY PUMP TO DISPENSE BEER?
To dispense beer using a party pump: 1. Tap the keg, and open the faucet until all of the pressure is released. The beer will be foamy at this point, but will subside shortly. Don’t worry, you can still drink the beer! 2. Do not pump before opening the faucet, as this can cause a faster and foamier pour, which will be difficult to stop. Stop pumping once a good beer flow has been reached. Remember to only pump to maintain your beer flow, and only pump when the faucet is open.

HOW DO I KEEP MY KEG COLD?
Kegs are cold at the time of pickup (36°F/2°C). It should be between 36-42 °F/2-5°C when you are ready to serve. Pick up some ice, throw the keg in a bucket, and let it chill! Kegs are 16” wide X 21” high.

I PICKED UP A KEG TODAY AND WANT TO HAVE A FEW GLASSES, BUT THE PARTY ISN’T UNTIL TWO DAYS FROM NOW. IS THIS OK?
No. Only tap the keg when you are ready to consume completely using a party pump. Once the keg is tapped, you have about 24 hours of quality beer before it goes flat. Just like a bottle of pop – once opened, it doesn’t taste the same the next day. Oxygen is draught beer’s worst enemy!
-
DO I NEED TO RESERVE A KEG?
No! We are always stocked. Last minute party on a Friday night? Need a keg? No problem! Hit up our drive-thru!
-
CAN I DRINK THE KEG AS SOON AS I GET IT HOME?
It's not recommended. The keg should sit in a stable upright position for about 2-3 hours before consumption. This will allow the draught beer to settle after travel time and will result in less “foaming”.

Yes – we have a good number of consumers who purchase kegs from us on a regular basis for their home bar.
